I got an email today telling me they delivered the cup. Well I didn't get it and it seems to me it would be a bit quick... Hope I still get it..

I got my cup today! I was reading the instructions, and if I read it right, you have to fold it into it's smallest form when removing. I can't help but wonder:

how do I do that, if I try it outside of my vagina I can only do that when I use two hands

If you fold it into a smaller form, don't you spill the blood that's in it??

Ow and by the way, my cat loves rubber. She now tries to get hold of my cup I have to be very careful...

I read you need a special pan to cook the cup, do you all have a special pan? I can't 'practise' now for I have no special pan to sterilize it when I'm done. EDIT: with special I mean, a pan not before used for cooking.

When you remove it, you only have to press it a little bit.
But there are some ways to fold it to istert it. Has somebody the link?
I have a special pan, but only because of my mother. If I would have my own home I would not mind putting it in a normal pan. But you can also use a glasjar with a special liquid. Has somebody the name for it? I forgott actually the german word.

I'm not sure whether it was someone from this forum - but there once was a woman, owner of a mooncup and a dog that, one day, ate her mooncup... (I don't remember if the dog was harmed in some way, but better be careful, indeed.)

I don't cook my cup, I put it in a glass for drinking tea (thanks to my boyfriend, he allowed me to do so) and pour boiling water over it. That's not enough to keep it clean, but for sterilizing - to clean it, I put it into the dish-washer

Removal is simply a question of practise, so you better have your first tries at home when you have enough time!

To get it get it out, just get hold of it (if tip removes), press it together a little bit ("pfffft!") and pull. Just as easy as that.

And cleaning: Wherever you want, any pan, dishwasher, microwave - if you use the dishwasher, you cab sterilize it afterwards with Isopropanol.

Ohhh my god I totally paniced! First try it hurt like hell to get it in (I have vulvitis) and my urethera wasn't spared It didn't unfold and wouldn't go up as far as was nessecary to get it in.

Second try: I got it a little bit further in, it didn't feel good, more pain (I can't help that because of the vulvitis) and more friction on my urtethera, than it plopped, and I had a vacuum. It didn't feel good in there, so I tryed to get it out. Panic of course, for I could sqeeze it like hell but it wouldn't un-vacuum. Tryed to get my finger to the top to release the vacuum. Turned and then all of a sudden it came loose. I pulled it out (a little bit folded) auw!

Well, it was ages ago I took an antibiotic, but now I had too, or else I get an bladderinfection

No succes for me Too bad I spend the money on it
(by the way, others that consider this cup, don't mention my fiasco, I'm a bad example with all those things giong on down there)

With that vacuum I could have easiliy pulled my spiral out, it feels strange.. Or is that impossible?

"Normally" you can use it with an IUD, I think we might even have one or two which have both.But if you think the string ist longer than before than you should have checked it at the Gyn.

I want it to be removed tuesday next week, and I haven't had sex for months and won't have in the next couple of weeks, so it'll be ok I hope till then.

Mh, its really not soooo good to try it while not menstruating - most women are to dry then and so it hurts. Perhaps you could try again later? And dont worry too much about your IUP (or IUD, Schaf?), there is no actual "vacuum", it jst sucked itself to the "walls" of your vagina.

And I think I couldnt follow properly - why do you have to take the antibiotic?

However, I think you would be more successful if you tried again later, while menstruating and being healthy.

I´m sure, and if u r not in an relationship at the moment, u have the benefit of watching your first cycles without the pressure for en early ovulation or something like that
