How to use Nayas?
Each day Pad consists of one holder and two liners. Depending on the intensity of your menstrual flow you can usw one or two liners. Put the liner insider holder. Each pad has wings, so you can easily map it on yor underwear. Mini Naya doesn't have additional liners, Naya Night Pad has one extra liner you can put on the bottom of holder.
How often should I change Naya Pads?
Every time you should change all pad, not only liners. In a days of heavy flow I recommend change pad every 4 hours. When flow is light - every 5, 6 hours.
Used pads put into Holding Bag, after two days of your period soak and wash them. The rest you can wash after the period.
How to wash them?
1. remove the liners from the holder, they will wash better.
2. soak all parts in cold water for 2-3 hours. You can leave them soaking longer but minimum 2-3 hours are necessary to remove the blood. Remember water have to be cold! Warm preserves blood on fabric.
3. wring them and either handwash or put in the washing machine at 60 ° C. It's best not to use bleaching or stain removers because they irritate the skin and pollute the environment. If you follow the washing instructions, bleach or stain removers aren't necessary. We don't advise using softeners either, for ecological reasons and because they limit fabric absorption.
4. water with blood usw to water plants or pour out on Earth. be ready for our plants fast growth.
Pads has to be soked and wash in 3 days after using them. If not there can remain stains. Lefting used pads unwashed for longer then a week can ruin them.
